The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, moderate-protein and very low-carbohydrate diet. Carbohydrates are the body's preferred source of energy, but on a strict ketogenic diet, less than 5 percent of energy intake is from carbohydrates.
We are using the Pili Nut found in the pili nut farms of the Philippine Islands. High in Protein, minerals, good fats & Energy boosting. My wife has a recipe for making power bars with it as well. I don't think that using individual examples is the best way to approach this.
